This is an in office position. Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM
You will:
- Develop and manage your own book of business through business to business cold calling
- Follow up with new and existing clients to provide freight solutions and close deals
- Prospect for new business
- Negotiate rates with carriers
- Coordinate with Account Managers and Logistics Coordinators to ensure client needs and expectations are met
You Have:
- OSSD (Ontario Secondary School Diploma) or equivalent
- Post secondary schooling in relevant field or relatable industry experience
- Familiar with various softwares including CRMs
- Comfortable with basic programs such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook & Word
- Advanced time management
- Keen attention to detail
- The willingness to learn the ins and outs of a niche industry
- The ability to connect with people
- Determination
- A go-getter attitude
