Job title: Marketing and Communications Graduate
Location: Reading (Hybrid - 2 days a week in the office)
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About this Opportunity:
Our Marketing and Communications Graduate will have the opportunity to support with the production of content and assets for Ericsson’s external and internal marketing activities in the UK & Ireland.
You will work closely with senior business stakeholders and marketing colleagues to plan and execute industry events – project managing plans from start to finish, including the extensive build-up, invitation, and follow-up activities. You will also help to manage the executive social media profiles of key business influencers, providing editorial support and planning alongside external agencies.
The role also includes the delivery of Ericsson’s internal communications strategy, producing timely copy to support key business messages as well as increasing engagement on digital platforms, and supporting all areas across the business to drive employee advocacy.
You’ll Get the Opportunity to:
- Plan and execute digital, physical, and hybrid events
- Lead promotional and follow-up event activities
- Work with Sourcing, external agencies, and vendors to coordinate event operations & budgets
- Provide key editorial support for internal business messages and external communications
- Manage internal digital engagement platforms and develop regular community content
- Support our Account teams with customer marketing campaigns and engagement
- Work with a range of senior business stakeholders to plan digital/social media content and assets
- Collaborate with other marketing colleagues across the Europe and Latin America region to implement global marketing initiatives and localize content
- Work with our content and brand teams to ensure all assets are within brand guidelines
- Management of editorial and marketing calendars to ensure we’re up-to-date and on target
Key Skills:

- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent
- Understanding of digital marketing and digital marketing tools (from a workplace, volunteer role, placement, or your degree)
- Experience in events or project management (from a workplace, volunteer role, placement, or your degree)
- Excellent proficiency in verbal & written English to business level
- Knowledge of social media platforms and campaigns
