SALES SPECIALIST

Summary
As an important member of Regeneron’s newly created International Oncology organisation, Regeneron is seeking a Sales Specialist who will be part of Regeneron UK’s local sales team. The Sales Specialist is responsible for a variety of customer engagement activities such as meeting with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and representing Regeneron Oncology at key meetings. The Sales Specialist will understand the local healthcare economy in order to: identify the key people in Oncology; understand the account context and tailor calls based on individual and account needs; build KOL support for the product.
Job Duties
Field Sales Activities
- Establish and manage high quality HCP interactions by continuously keeping scientific knowledge around the product, indication and brand sales messaging up to date and reliably executing sales & marketing plans
- Consistently deliver on the value proposition for the brand and ensure brand objectives are met through key message communication to HCPs
- Act as a manager in the territory, ensuring professional account planning and management of all key accounts and executing a professional targeting & segmentation approach in line with regional/country level guidance
- In line with the UK Brand Plan, develop and implement a local account plan based on key data sources and local market insights, ensuring continuous and timely updates to the plan in response to changing market dynamics in order to drive growth within the territory
- Collaborate closely with medical colleagues to implement regional programs and relevant activities to support HCP needs
- Represent Regeneron Oncology at Regional/National/International meetings/congress as required in line with the global brand plan
- Leverage all communication channels including digital channels, in collaboration with other functions, in order to achieve the best possible share of voice in the market
- Report results and developments proactively and transparently to the UK leadership team
Performance Orientation
- Deliver high quality customer interactions and consistently demonstrate an ability to drive and support customers in the optimisation of clinical practice
- Manage several customer engagement channels to optimise customer engagement (e.g. F2F, remote calls, approved emails, digital communication platforms etc.)
- Delivery on the KPIs as designed in the local operating plan including account objectives, sales and sales growth for the accounts
- Carry out recording and reporting, as per Regeneron operating processes and timelines
- Full adherence to industry and company procedures
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree (or recognised equivalent for sales professionals)
- Strong customer engagement skills, with a focus on delivering value
- Possess excellent technical aptitude and the ability to conduct disease/concept selling
- Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience
- Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
- Ability to work independently to execute against strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines
- Computer literate with competence in working with data/multiple systems/CRM
- Qualified in the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice (e.g. EFPIA code, ABPI code)
- Strong integrity and ethics in behaviors, actions, and communications.
- Fluent in English
- Frequent travel will be requirement of the role
Desirable
- 5+ years of sales experience within the biotech/pharmaceutical sector
- Oncology sales experience strongly preferred
- Launch experience
