The Role

We are excited to be looking for a Multi-project Sales Executive.

This role will sit across several client accounts; Delivering reactive and pro-active sales against the sales strategy created by the Head of Sales, supported by the Leadership Team, with a view to increasing organic and pre-booked revenue.

This is a very exciting, key role that will give you the opportunity to work with and make a big impact on some of the U. K’s most respected, creative and forward-thinking bars, restaurants, Pubs and late-night venues.

Working Hours and days

Monday – Friday from 9am to 5pm ( 40 Hours per week)

Saturdays – Occasional cover for holidays may be required, this would be no more than 4 Saturdays within a 6-month period and would be agreed in advance.

Training and support

We are fully committed to giving you training, support and mentoring to develop you fully into the role. You will work remotely alongside the Sales Team and our Leadership Team to support in driving sales. You will also be provided with any necessary training to work on our existing software and systems via a full in person induction before beginning the role.

You will be supplied with a laptop and headset for your work which will be set up for you.

You will be required to attend our office in London for 1-2 days in your first month to collect your equipment and have your induction training with our team in London. * all travel expenses will be covered by Bums on Seats LTD.

*There may be other occasional times you would be required to travel to either London or Manchester depending on your location, but this would be a maximum of 6 x days within the 6 month contract (inc the afore mentioned days above for induction/set up training) These days would always be with advance notice of at least 2 weeks and travel would be paid for by Bums on Seats Ltd.

Work from home/remote working policy

As this role is predominantly a home-based role we would request;

● Have a quiet, private, and distraction-free working space. *Coffee shops/public places are not suitable locations to work from for this role due to GDPR.

● Have an internet connection that’s adequate for the tasks within this role. We advise that a download speed of 10MBPS for download and at least 1 MBPS for upload is desirable.

Responsibilities within the role:

The role also includes dealing with enquiries through our reservations, email & phone system from start to finish. You will be liaising with venue teams, General Managers & the Bums on Seats team daily to ensure all customers are responded to within our target customer response time, and where sites are fully booked try to move the enquiry to an alternative venue or date.

You will be responsible for overseeing the initial experience the customer has with us and handing the booking over to the venue teams, efficiently and completely with all relevant notes added – meeting the specific needs of the customer but also ensuring that what you have agreed to the venues can deliver. All bookings should have detailed notes which allow the venue to execute the bookings to the highest standard.

A key aspect of the role is also building a good rapport with potential customers, from the initial point of enquiry through to confirmation of the booking. This requires empathy, in-depth product knowledge, creativity, and the ability to be both patient and assertive at points along the way.

· Some previous Hospitality Sales Experience

Responsibilities

The role will be a diverse one and will vary according to a pre-determined strategy, however a broad overview is listed (but not limited to) the below:

  • To manage, as required, inbound enquiries for the client via telephone, email and booking systems with excellent customer service, enquiry handling and problem-solving skills.
  • To grow and maximise pre-booked sales, where required through proactive outreach via telephone and email, working with clear targets and K.P. I’s.
  • Proactively cross selling bookings to a different venue or date where applicable to keep all sales within the business.
  • Maximising spends per head throughout the process by proactively upselling.
  • Maintenance and development of relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Resolving any customer complaints in a positive way.
  • Manage and maintain all client booking systems including but not limited to Collins, Resdiary, LiveRes, Opentable & SevenRooms, with a ‘best in class’ attitude to all systems communication and processes.
  • Report activity and conversion on a daily and weekly basis to the Head of Sales and/or project leader.
  • To hit agreed targets and KPIs on a project-by-project basis.
  • To self-manage time, tasks, targets and deadlines on a daily and weekly basis to achieve maximum efficiency and results set by the Head of Sales and project leaders for the clients.
  • To ensure a constant, consistent, and clear level of communication is upheld both internally and externally at all times.

Salary

£9.50- £11 Per Hour Depending on experience/ Monthly Pay.
