About us:
Glentham Life Sciences is a supplier of fine chemicals and laboratory reagents to companies and institutions across the globe. As we continue to grow, we are looking to expand our team whilst maintaining the high level of service that our customers have come to expect.
Our customers are located across the globe, which provides our sales team with wide variety and a constantly changing role. There will be the opportunity to travel and meet clients in person, or to attend industry exhibitions.
The Role:
We are looking for a friendly, self-motivated, and well organised individual, with good attention to detail. You will possess the skill and ability to create formal & engaging emails, speak confidently and articulately over the phone and effectively manage your time.
The focus will be on customer retention and finding new business opportunities with new and existing customers to grow the company sales pipeline.
Key Objectives:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your task will be to quote our wide range of high-quality fine chemicals to our customers’ requirements, and close sales agreements to further growth of the company.
In brief, the role will involve:
- Handling incoming sales enquiries from new and existing clients
- Providing customer service to existing clients
- Organising and maintaining a growing key account list
- Researching, finding, and approaching potential new clients
We are looking for:
Whilst not essential, any experience in the following would be beneficial to your application:
- Higher education/degree in a life science-related subject (chemistry, biology)
- Demonstratable sales & customer service experience
- Driving licence
- Strong communication & IT skills
Salary: Up to £25K DOE + Discretionary Bonus Scheme
Location: Corsham, Wiltshire
Holiday: 20 Days + BH
Hours: 35 hours p/w Mon - Fri
