Field Sales Representative
Horizon products is a contact toll manufacturing / filling company which operates in the DIY paint and coatings sector in Northumberland. Here at Horizon, we are looking for an experienced national sales representative to join our team on a permanent basis to maintain customer relationships and seek new business opportunities.
Requirements:
Visiting key customers to maintain relationships and discuss future projects
Identify and secure new business in ours and other market sectors
Establish and build solid relationships both internally and externally
Liaise with management frequently
Provide monthly update report on progress, market conditions and competitor activity
Produce servicing plans for new and existing business
Analyse market trends, identify opportunities and threats
Prepare and perform presentations for management
Actively seek new business opportunities and relaying information to management
Have all available up to date information for call planning, sector, products and services.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions and networking events
Prepare and present detailed analysis of performance and customer base in sales meetings
A customer focussed attitude with a drive to win new business.
Promote Horizons products and services
Represent the company
Prioritise own workload in an effective manner
Experience:
Exceptional time management skills
Paint and coatings knowledge
A proven track record of 5 years or more in sales and new business acquisition
Experience in a commercial or technical setting within the coatings or wider chemicals sector
Full UK driving licence
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
