Sales executive, Evogro
We are looking for a target driven sales person with great taste! The role is selling to chefs and high end restaurants so a passion for food (and the planet) would be great.
Evogro makes Plant Growing Systems for Chefs. We make it easy for people to grow their own perfect microgreens, salad leaves and herbs. Our system combines internet-connected growing cabinets with intelligent software services so our customers can get great, consistent results with a minimum of time and effort. By growing plants right in the kitchen, they can be snipped just when needed so they are absolutely fresh and full of flavour.
Evogro customers include Michelin starred restaurants, five star hotels, bars, private clubs, cruise ships, major catering companies and affluent households. Although mainly in the UK we also have customers in mainland Europe, the Middle East, the Far East and Australasia.
We’ve just completed a significant funding round and are now entering a phase of rapid national and international expansion.
Our fast growing foodtech business is looking for someone comfortable in a start-up environment, who can sell a premium product that wins on taste, whilst also getting their heads around how our AI enabled cabinets deliver benefits to forward thinking customers.
The role
Firstly we’re looking for people that can get excited about our product, its benefits and they can’t wait to talk to people about it. The core target market for the role will be selling to Chefs and other influential stake holders at high-end hotels and restaurant. You’ll be selling our ‘hardware’ but this is also an opportunity to sell our software services that make sure our clients have incredible microgreens and herbs that set their dishes and drinks apart.
Furthermore the role will open up opportunities to sell into more corporate accounts (our cabinets are also in the staff canteens of some of the largest tech companies, banks and management consultancies!).
About you
You have a passion for food, flavours and get excited about working with top chefs
You love selling, creating new relationships and you are a self starter
Minimum 2-3 years selling into hospitality
You’ve used CRM’s to track your sales performance
Familiar with other modern, digital tools that improve your process
You have hit targets, and are driven to go further
What you will do
Perfect a prospecting process, be that by email, phone or visiting clients
Become an expert advisor to restaurants, customers and chefs
Champion how our technology produces incredible food and flavours to the market
Run your own pipeline of business, selling directly to decision makers and influencers in catering businesses
