City Cruises UK is part of the City Experiences division of the Hornblower Group, a global leader in world-class experiences and transportation services. We operate public dining and sightseeing cruises as well as private charters for corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, or other special occasions across London, Poole, and York.
About You
We are currently seeking a Trade Sales & Marketing Executive to assist the Head of Trade Sales. This role will involve working with a range of different trade partners, including OTAs, DMC’s, school group operators and travel agents to ensure sales revenue budgets are achieved across all products, at all locations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Weekly checking of content on key OTA partners websites.
- Update of content and images for OTA websites
- Provide daily support for partners using the B2B portal.
- Ensure the CRM system is updated with partner details.
- Set up new trade partners on the Anchor system
- Manage ‘trade cases’ through Sales Force.
- Build and maintain good relationships with trade partners
- Liaise with the Marketing team to produce adverts and copy for trade partners
- Assist with the organisation of trade shows (domestic and international)
- Co-ordinate cruise bookings for bloggers and agents
- Produce mailings and newsletters to trade partners.
- Provide weekly reports and data insights.
- Manage ordering and distribution of bulk tickets / barcodes.
- Assist with monthly reports for the Accounts team.
- Assist the Groups Team when necessary, providing support when there is an high influx of bookings.
- Attend trade shows and networking events, and host familiarisation trips.
- Any other ad-hoc duties.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience of working in the Travel & Tourism industry preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience of working with a CRM system an advantage
- Proactive and pragmatic approach to work, with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Organised and able to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and committed to data accuracy.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year
