Sales Representative
Reporting directly to the Ontario Regional Sales Manager the sales representatives shall be responsible to drive revenue and increase profitability through direct involvement in business development activities with strategic partners, Vendors, and ISV’s.
Responsibilities include:
Sales Strategy
- Identify and define key targets, sources and size of opportunities, key barriers, product repositioning, etc… to meet business objectives.
- Execute based on the yearly Sales Business Plan which include target accounts, potential growth accounts, and key actions to go deep and wide into existing customer base.
- Development of strategy to target increased revenue and GP. Targets include:
o Finding net new partners
o Building a deep and wide relationship in existing accounts
o Driving the entire portfolio across the partner community
Managing the Day to Day Sales process
Objective Definition and Measurement
- Measure, analyse and act based on the individual sales performance and its impact on business results.
- Review Sales activity by Customer, Vendors to define business directions and specific objectives.
- Manage the sales pipeline and the opportunities, to ensure appropriate forecasting, tracking and reporting of sales results.
- Ensure the buy in and execution of the corporate sales plan
- Strengthen and deepen Customer relationships by interacting personally with key decision makers in all key accounts.
- Responsible of managing the Target account relationship. Review results to determine actions to be taken to increase/maximize performance.
- Participate in the definition and selection of Sales and Marketing business development activities meant to promote our business.
Sales Operations and Training
- Supports the implementation and execution of IT tools and programs meant to provide information and visibility to Sales management such as Contact and the sales pipeline, Price exceptions, deal registration, etc…
- Ensure appropriate knowledge and required training of the product portfolio needed to act as a trusted advisor towards the account base
Vendor Relations
- In coordination with other members of BlueStar, and when deemed appropriate, participate in Vendor periodical business reviews, partner events and industry trade shows.
- Strengthen and deepen Vendor relationships especially in the specific targeted accounts by interacting personally with Vendor’s key players..
- Vendor activities may include:
o Participate in Vendor work meetings.
o Participate in Vendor Lunch & Learns.
o Coordinate joint Customer visits/calls with our Vendors when required.
o Initiate event participation for Customer & Vendor to join forces in trade events.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $70,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
