Job description

To provide daily comprehensive support to the sales team by supporting with administrative duties, analysing data, conducting research and devising efficient processes. This individual will be required to liaise between the sales team in Europe and the network office in Japan. It is therefore essential that the right candidate speaks fluent Japanese (Native).

Job Description

➢ To conduct research and searching of travel / tour information in Japan (eg. Hotel, meals, guides and other services) based on the Sales information received;

➢ Dealing and communicating with Sales staff based in Europe regarding agent & clients’ needs and requirements

➢ Handle Sales department inquiries related to travelling and reservation matter

➢ To communicate with the Network Office in Japan and Sales Office in Europe on all travel

information correspondence.

➢ Ensure Sales department inquiries are satisfied courteously and efficiently through a single point of contact.

➢ Primarily responsible for the correct booking, follow-up and cost control of services and ensuring all field staff and partners directly involved with their bookings are fully informed before and on tours

Skills and Qualifications required

❖ Knowledge of MS word and Excel

❖ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

❖ Effective verbal and listening communications skills, computer skills including the ability to operate spreadsheets and word processing programs at a highly proficient level

❖ Possesses great communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

❖ Basic knowledge about Japan as a tourist destination.

❖ Proactive, flexible and able to work independently.

❖ Strong accuracy skills and attention to detail

❖ Good analytical and logical thinking skill in problem solving

❖ Good interpersonal skills

❖ Japanese language skill (Native level)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £26,000.00 per year
