Your Role
The role of Sales Office Assistant requires placing the needs of our customers at the forefront and assisting the wider Pulsar Sales network to achieve this.
Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with the UK, Europe & international field sales teams to product technical & commercial quotations for our clients
- Responsible for working with the Sales Support Manager to provide fast response & accurate lead times on quotes
- Responsible for updating the Regional Hub Leaders and distributors with new sales leads
- Responsible for monitoring various email inboxes and dealing with enquiries over the phone
- Accountable for providing accurate and up to date quotes for customers along with any documentation they may require
- Accountable for updating customer records on CRM system
- Responsible for assisting customers with navigating our website & handling enquiries
- Accountable for assisting to process orders and issue order acknowledgements in a timely manor
- Responsible for provide customers with updates, using the ERP system to obtain the correct information
- Responsible for participating in & contributing to Team Meetings constructively
- Responsible for enabling customer returns
- Responsible for working with the Product Support team to help customers with technical issues or enquiries
- Responsible for assisting with the maintenance of price and discount lists
- Accountable for handling customer complaints in a professional & efficient manner, keeping senior staff informed where necessary
- Responsible for assisting colleagues to generate reports on specific product sales
- Responsible for assisting with the applications for certificates from appropriate sources, including Chamber of Commerce
- Accountable for working within company guidelines & code of conduct
Travel
This is an office based role, though travel may be occasionally required (limited site and exhibition visits).
Your background
- Knowledge of Pulsar products, specifications, and subsequent units, however training will be provided.
- Good computing skills – use of Microsoft office and additional programs
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent communication & team working skills.
- Comprehensive mathematical skills – to be able to work out discounts, multipliers, and conversion rates.
- Knowledge of an ERP System, however specific training will be provided
- Ability to grasp technical terminology & drawings/ documentation.
- Able to work under own initiative, planning & prioritizing as necessary

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
