SES, a wholly owned subsidiary of Worley is recruiting an Electrical Technician based onshore at SES’ Workshop in Altens, Aberdeen on a full-time, permanent basis.
We are looking for a highly motivated Electrician to join our onshore business Specialist Equipment Solutions.
Key aims and objectives:
- Support the Operations Team Lead to provide fit for service Plant & Equipment with appropriate validated certification
- Carry out service/repairs in line with the company procedures
- Present the ability to work in a dynamic work environment where our customer requirements, priorities and service deliverable timelines are constantly changing to meet our core customers 24/7 operations
Role Requirements:
- Both independently & within the wider team undertake thorough examination, repair, maintenance, testing and certification of a wide variety of Electrical Plant and Equipment
- Responsible for completing verification assurance, maintenance routines and maintain quality records
- Report any faults & repair costs found in Electrical equipment returned from clients in a timely manner and to an appropriate standard
- Ensure that the underlying causes of failures are understood, and that action is taken to avoid repeat failures
- Ensure that adequate stocks of equipment and materials are maintained
- Carry out inspections & minor repairs on returned equipment
- Occasionally carrying out repairs along with testing client owned equipment
- Actively support a working environment based on respect for health, safety, environmental issues and maintenance of a high level of customer service provision
- Commit to Worley Competence Assurance System and undertake any training and assessment required for role including product training
- Ensure that high quality standards of housekeeping and cleanliness are maintained
- When required provide support to the wider SES depots where all local working procedures should be adhered to
All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification:
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship
- Demonstrate experience
Compex- Validate Calibration (Welding)
- IEE Current Edition
- Tooling and plant experience
- PC skills, including but not limited to i.e., Word, Excel etc.
