As Sales Manager for our UK&I region, your mission is to lead a team of Account Executives and help Personio become the leading cloud-based HR Management, Recruiting, and Payroll software for SMEs in Europe. Now is a really exciting time to join the UK & Ireland team as the region has recently been identified as our second biggest and most important market outside Germany - help us turn this huge opportunity into reality! You will report to our Head of Sales, Northern Europe and manage a team of up to 8 Account Executives in the Medium and Large business space (50-2,000) As a Leader at Personio you’ll need to attract and hire the best talent, onboard and enable them, care for and support them during their journey, drive results and motivate the team, grow and develop the SaaS sales superheroes of the future Manage your team’s sales pipeline effectively; ensuring solid forecasting, deal reviews, working cadences etc. Develop a strong grasp of our value proposition and competitive landscape to increase win rates against key competitors within your first 6 months Experience building solid outbound strategies and culture to hit self-gen pipeline targets (50% of required coverage) Foster an environment of high performance and over-achievement Become a pioneer in transforming HR for SMEs across the UK and Ireland Develop market intelligence by conducting research on market, competition and customers Build up a network in the local HR ecosystem, across startups & the SME community and engaging with local media, events or potential partners Define the plan and strategy for Personio’s growth and test different channels to generate traction Research and understand customer requirements to feed into our product development What you need to succeed You’re a proven sales leader with a track record of success in terms of results, both the numbers and the development of your team A background in B2B SaaS and prior work experience in a fast-growing scale-up SaaS company You have an entrepreneurial and growth mindset and want to get things done You are driven by impact and want to be measured by data driven results You have a hands-on approach when needed, including supporting critical deals - calling, pitching, and negotiating You welcome feedback and adapt your approach accordingly You have a strategic mindset to build and execute a strategy to grow a market at pace over the long run You demonstrate great presentation and communication skills in written and spoken in English Bonus Experience: Previous experience in HR Software Sales technology such as Salesforce, Groove, Gong Why Personio Aside from our people, culture, and mission, there are a variety of additional benefits that help make Personio a great place to work!
