Job description
To develop and grow sales in the predominantly in central London and the UK with a specific focus on electrical contractors in London to create demand for the Lutron brand. The primary objective is to work closely with a focussed customer base to close both specified projects and design and build opportunities. Promote the sales of all Lutron products in all project sectors and subsequently follow projects through to close which will include working with colleagues throughout the business.
Responsibilities:- Create demand for ALL Lutron products by working closely with tier 1 and tier 2 electrical contractors and project influencers
- Close specification created by the wider sale team in London
- Meet or exceed aggressive growth targets
- Develop strong relationships with a focussed set of contractor accounts
- Educate and raise awareness of Lutron’s full product offering with allocated accounts
- Work closely with internal colleagues to produce the relevant documents to support the contractors needs
- Coordinate with team members to surround the job and ensure Lutron have the best opportunity to close
- Build technical expertise with commercial and residential and hospitality solutions
- Work with colleagues to prepare and present customer training and awareness, IE CPD’s
- Participate in local trade groups and networking events for influencers
- Communicate with channel colleagues to leverage further support where required
- Keep accurate expense records and submit expense reports in a timely manner
- Provide and maintain the highest level of service to the account base to ensure repeat business

Qualifications:The successful candidate will be a well organised, motivated and dynamic individual who has experience working with electrical contractors particularly in the central London area. An extensive knowledge of the construction industry and the project lifecycle and stakeholders within. An individual who is hungry to grow and achieve/ exceed goals set out by the management team.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the electrical construction industry in London
- Can demonstrate strong closing and negotiation capabilities
- Proven sales track record within electrical industry
- Bachelor’s degree is desirable
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
