Thinkproject is a European market-leader in digitalisation tools for construction companies. It sounds complex, but we'll explain further! Construction companies used to use manual administration and physical paperwork for projects (sometimes hundreds of thousands of bits of paperwork for one project!). Using our construction intelligence solutions, businesses can go digital, which benefits everyone from the construction companies to the wider public.
Our mission is to deliver digitalisation to make a safer, healthier and more sustainable AECO (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Operations) industry. Our clients come from a broad range of sectors (property, construction, maintenance, insurance, medical, utilities) and range from SME to mid-cap organisations and divisions of larger corporates.
To help us expand our business and client base, we are looking for a well presented, professional, driven Sales Manager (m/f/d) with experience of selling IT solutions into businesses and with a good knowledge of mobile technology.
The role will encompass all elements of the sales process including lead generation, cold calling, lead qualification, needs assessment and solution design, proposal preparation, presentation and closing. You will be comfortable selling to directors and senior business/technical managers.

What your day will look like
Achieve agreed revenue targets by:

  • Identifying and contacting prospective clients, following up inbound enquiries, qualifying prospects, presenting proposals/solutions and closing sales.
  • Working with presales colleagues to assess prospect requirements and develop technical / commercial proposals.
  • proactively managing and developing (nurturing) existing customers
  • Work alongside the marketing team in support of outbound campaigns and other marketing/lead generation initiatives

What you need to fulfill the role

  • 5+ years selling IT solutions to business
  • Mobile technology experience preferred
  • Construction related sector experience preferred
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels within prospects and clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with positive, flexible and problem-solving attitude
  • Prepared to travel extensively throughout the UK, with full UK driving license
  • Proven success in sales role
