About the role

This role will be focused on business development with the goal of growing and closing partnerships with higher education institutions across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) with a specific focus on developing institution led courseware in the Cambridge/CogBooks platform.

In this role, you will play a key part in the execution of the academic business unit's courseware and digital content growth plans. You will execute business development activities leading to a strong sales pipeline and closed won business. You will develop relationships with key leaders within academic institutions. The position holder will partner across the organisation to coordinate and prioritise internal resources by communicating trends, providing market and competitive information.

About you

You are an experienced sales and business development professional who has a consistent track record of goal achievement and a strong list of contacts throughout the higher education market in EMEA. In addition, to be successful in this role you have:

  • A deep understanding of the pressures and challenges on higher education leaders in EMEA.
  • Tech savvy and can clearly communicate how well-designed digital teaching and learning solutions can positively impact students and instructors.
  • Ability to sell ideas both internally and externally.
  • You thrive in a changing environment.
  • Internally motivated with the ability to set goals
