Based in a great area in Bolton with easy access to the train station and bus routes is our fantastic office with a buzzing atmosphere! We are a Research and Development Tax specialist company, and we are looking for a Sales Manager with at least 5 years B2B team management experience, to support the expansion of our company.
You will be speaking to directors and financial directors, so B2B experience as well as a good business knowledge is essential. We are looking for professional money hungry individuals who are serious about doing well and making a difference. In return you will get a competitive salary with an amazing, uncapped commission structure.
You will be working within our Bolton office, dealing with clients, prospects, warm enquiries, sourcing/generating, building new business and managing a growing internal and external sales team.
We currently facilitate up to 200 tax claims/rebates per month for Limited companies nationwide across all sectors.
When successful, your role will include:
· Recruitment and initial training of new starters, including liaising with external recruitment partners.
· Providing ongoing support and direction to the team leaders and agents.
· Motivating the sales team, facilitating daily briefs, debriefs and meetings with the sales office.
· Line manager to our in-house BDM who deals with clients and referral partners.
· Managing our field rep BDM and Client Relations Manager who are responsible for client visits for retention and referral purposes and onboarding new business.
· Liaising with our in-house digital marketer for lead gen and marketing requirements.
· Reporting to the Operations Director and 2 Managing Directors.
· Providing regular updates on training and business development plans.
· Collating and analysing data from the sales office, call stats, where business is coming from etc.
· Managing any external introducers and home-based agents.
The ideal candidate will be;
· A strong level of knowledge in Research and Development tax benefits, finance or accounting sector.
· We are looking for a very confident and tenacious individual who is money hungry and growth driven.
· Working on their own initiative to represent the company
· An experienced manager within a call centre environment and cold calling experience.
· A comfortable person with public speaking, holding meetings and face to face sales.
· A strong performance manager with the ability to coach and grow both individual and team performance via clear and sustainable actions.
· Reporting to the Ops Director and x2 Managing Directors, they will need you to be the link between them and the whole sales team with daily and weekly feedback to the management team.
· Able to analyse KPI data and translate to clear actions that deliver sustainable growth
· An approachable, engaging, passionate individual with a strong work ethic and eye for detail.
· Comfortable working to deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment
· Flexible to the needs of the business
· Calm under pressure
· Experience in delivering feedback and setting SMART objectives
· Comfortable being accountable for all things sales
