Job Summary:
Are you a music enthusiast with an instinct for sales and commercial success? Do you dream of the opportunity to balance your professional commitments with family ones? We are seeking a Sales Manager who will champion Virtuoso, a platform that provides cutting-edge electronic music courses on music production, DJing, and songwriting to schools. This term-time role offers the unique advantage of aligning your work schedule with the school term, freeing up your school holidays to spend quality time with family or focus on personal interests.
Responsibilities:
Refine and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers at schools to secure new business.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.
Manage the sales pipeline, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities.
Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they receive the support and training they need to utilise our platform effectively.
Provide ongoing customer support and resolve any issues or concerns swiftly.
Collaborate with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure our platform meets the needs of schools and their students.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to keep our platform competitive and relevant.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within the education industry.
Good understanding of music theory and music/arts education.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in simple terms.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
Ability to build strong relationships and establish credibility.
Experience with Ableton Live would be a plus.
Job Preferences:
Manchester-based candidates are preferred but not essential.
Prior experience as a music teacher would be advantageous.
Job sharing opportunities may be available.
We offer a competitive salary package, with a base salary of £30k (prorata) and a commission structure allowing up to £120k OTE within the next 24 months . If you're a motivated individual who enjoys the challenge of sales and the rhythm of the school term, this could be your ideal role.
