We have an exciting opportunity to join our Tapi family as a Concession Manager and we’re looking for that extra special individual who oozes our ONETAPI Leadership behaviours and is energized about creating a great customer experience!
The Opportunity:
Taking responsibility for the overall running of our Homebase Concession showroom, you will be accountable for cultivating an environment focused on the customer. You will deliver high levels of customer service and drive performance through sales - and be rewarded too!
As a standalone Concession Manager, you will be responsible for everything from providing great customer service to ensuring your showroom is always presentable. You will be comfortable working within a concession showroom model and will build a strong relationship with the team within the local Tapi Hub store.
Your Tapi responsibilities:
- Overall management of end-to-end operations within the Tapi Concession showroom.
- Ensure the showroom always provides an outstanding experience for customers.
- Deliver outstanding service to all customers – surpassing their expectations.
- Drive sales to meet and exceed your personal sales targets.
- Ensure that all customer interactions are followed up immediately and given outstanding service.
- Handle customer complaints in difficult situations.
- Manage people resources, ensuring the showroom is well resourced and able to meet customer demand across the working week.
- Ensure the highest standard of show room and merchandise presentation.
- Build the brand within the area by building relationships within the Homebase environment.
- Build a strong relationship with colleagues and management of the local Hub store.
- Accurately calculate, plan, and estimate products for customers homes.
- Always looking for ways to continuously improve for customers, colleagues and the wider Tapi business.
- Regularly use Tapi technology to input customer order details accurately and to a high standard.
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Security requirements set out by Tapi and the Homebase host store.
ABOUT YOU:
You’re naturally self-motivated, results driven and lead by example. People are your bag – you get them, you understand them and importantly, you can sell to them!
You’re confident in your ability and see 100% of target as the minimum – not job done! And, you’re always on the lookout for ways to improve things for customer and colleagues.
You’re comfortable in your own company and thrive in stand-alone positions – this is a challenge and one you know you’ll succeed in! You build strong relationships with colleagues across the business with ease and know where to turn for support.
You strive to smash sales targets at every turn while ensuring the customer gets the best service when visiting your showroom.
Your organisation skills are second to none and you understand how to run an efficient and effective showroom operation– nothing slips on your watch! You get numbers, using the right tools to help you calculate, plan and estimate, so that the customer has all the information they need to make an informed decision.
Good judgement is key - you don’t shy away from difficult conversation and manage them with Tapi charm, dealing with challenges but ensuring the best outcome.
You’re “Tech Savvy” and know how to use Store systems to your advantage – and if you don’t, you find out!
You’re flexible and do what is best for the showroom, scheduling work effectively so no customer is left behind and if and when needed, working in the local Hub store.
