Job description

Job Title: Sales Administrator

Location: Derby

Salary: £26,500 per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our Company is currently in search of a Sales Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of our transport services which are offered in Derby,Derbyshire, Nottingham and Burton. You will work closely with a team of drivers to ensure the smooth and efficient transportation of clients, while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities:

● Providing service and price information to customers.

● Handling telephone enquiries from potential customers on behalf of the sales team.

● Maintain accurate records of private hire transport activities, including trip details, mileage, and expenses.

● Preparing sales invoices and keeping records and accounts of sales activity.

● Communicate with clients to understand their transportation requirements and provide appropriate solutions.

● Addressing customer complaints or redirects them to the appropriate sales team member.

● Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and licensing requirements.

● Engaging in general administration duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

● Previous experience is preferable.

● Solid writing skills to produce clear and effective documentation and reports.

● Proficiency in relevant software programs, including databases and spreadsheets.

● Excellent organisational skills to cope with a fast-changing environment and multiple concurrent tasks.

● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with customers, sales team, and other stakeholders.

● Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.

● Basic financial literacy to understand financial sheets and manage a fleet budget.

● Multilingual particularly Urdu and Punjabi.

● Proficient in utilising the company's operational software with a high level of expertise.

● Knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
