We currently have the fantastic opportunity to join our massively successful clients team as a UK sales manager. The role will see you working across the UK, responsible for sales growth within all relevant markets.
Job Specification
Reporting to the Head of International Sales, the job holder will be responsible for sales growth within the UK covering all relevant industries, including Oil & Gas, Pharmaceutical, Biogas, Distilleries, Petrochemical & Renewable Energy.
The job holder should have a high-level of technical aptitude, demonstrable selling skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with people at multiple organisational levels. This position is home-based and will involve travel widely throughout the UK, and internationally as may be required.
The job holder will be an ambitious self-starter with a desire to develop their career rapidly as this innovative business rolls out its patented technology in key international markets.
The key accountabilities will include:
- Managing relationships with existing accounts whilst developing new business through client visits, presentations, and customer/service partner development programmes.
- Providing pre-sales technical assistance via site visits, surveys & training sessions.
- Manage & support the regional channel partners in achieving their targets.
- Work closely with Authorised Service Partners in managing post-sales service contracts.
- To develop the profile of the business in relevant market sectors via effective communications and involvement in the business planning process.
- Agreement and achievement of realistic OEM and project specific sales targets
- Supporting marketing activities by attending national and international trade shows
- Updating the CRM system on a regular basis for follow-ups and reporting purposes.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will have an engineering background with excellent presentation, communication (multi-lingual), and IT skills. Previous sales experience in the oil and gas, valve sales or related industries would be an advantage.
We are offering an attractive remuneration package which includes:
- £50k package (c£40k basic + bonus)
- Fully expensed company car (Audi A4 / BMW 3 series or equivalent)

- Location: home-based – UK head office near Chester
- Holidays 25 days + 8 statutory holidays
