Job description
Hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30 am til 5:00 pm
Main Duties:
- Maintain and develop key accounts
- Identify and develop new business
- 1. By product
- 2. By machine group
- 3. By geographical location
- Develop new sales opportunities with prospective clients, actively seeking new and repeat sales business (through phone calls, email and face-to-face meetings)
- Build relationships with key buying influences
- Generate strong leads across sectors, and seek ‘gap closers’ with products and sectors
- Market research/lead generation
- Meet sales goals/performance measures
- Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to the manager
- Attend trade shows and exhibitions where required (national and international travel)
- Work accurately and efficiently whilst under pressure
- Other duties as required
Experience:
- Strong sales
- Experience in selling components in the yellow plant/construction equipment market
- Ideally with an Engineering background but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
