About the role:
Reporting to the Home Manager, with accountability to the Head of Client Services, the Client Services Manager is responsible for the sales and local marketing of the care home. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, effectively marketing the Home through delivering qualified leads and selling beds at the Home by discovering, presenting and closing qualified leads with the objective of reaching and maintaining budgeted occupancy and fee levels.
About you:
You will be an experienced sales professional, ideally already in a role dealing with complex or consultative sales in a targeted environment. As important as your sales skills, is your natural ability to show empathy and deal professionally with a variety of difficult and sometimes emotionally challenging situations.
Your communication skills are second to none and you will be able to relate positively to, and engage with a wide range of people. Visibility of work requires strong personal and professional presentation, as well as attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
You must be able to actively seek referrals through external business development and networking, often without prior introduction.
Excellent IT skills are essential, and you will be familiar with sales CRM software such as Sales Force. You must be able to report accurately all key sales and marketing information in a timely manner adhering to deadlines.
Day to Day Duties:
- Responsible for the sales and local marketing of the care home
- Actively seek referrals through external business development and networking, often without prior introduction.
- Approximately 40% of time to be allocated to External Business Development positive relationship with key stakeholders, prospective Residents, and their families
- Have an ongoing pipeline of admissions gained from effective lead management and business referral development.
- Answer ‘Live Chat’ enquiries in line with targets set, responding empathetically and professionally in web-based communications
- Arrange regular meetings and presentations to key stakeholders in and outside the Home
- Organise local networking and attend community events
- Organise internal events to raise awareness of the home
- Develop and maintain a working database of professional contacts within CRM system, to include ambassadors, influencers, and referral sources
- Effectively manage each prospective enquiry through to admission
- Identify ad-hoc opportunities to support the Home marketing efforts, including but not limited to supplying regular content for social media, Home news stories, and external press releases
