The Company:Packamama is changing the game in wine packaging. We are the creators of eco-flat wine bottles, made from 100% recycled PET, to save space, weight and energy, to help reduce the carbon footprint in wine. With offices in the UK and Australia, distribution in France and an impending launch in the US, we are a passionate team of individuals. We are making bottles better to support climate change mitigation and the future health of our planet. We supply leading wine companies and brand owners, who choose our bottles to help achieve their sustainability goals. We work with leading PET container manufacturers to create a world class bottle that can challenge the status quo. Importantly, consumers understand and show plenty of love for our bottles.The Role:We’re currently looking to recruit a full-time sales manager to help drive our business to its next, exciting stage and this role will be instrumental to our growth. You will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships as well as developing new business opportunities and maintaining our sales pipeline. You will work closely with the management team to develop and execute the 2024 sales plan, with a key focus on a number of live opportunities that could unlock significant volume. The successful candidate will join at a time when the team is still small and so will have the potential to help shape the company’s future.Responsibilities:Maintain strong relationships with our existing customer base, ensuring new opportunities are explored, NPD projects communicated and revenue opportunities are maximizedProspect new business and customers, leading the sales process through to closeBuild strategic relationships and collaborations with retailers, contract bottlers and distributorsDevelop and execute the 2024 sales plan, delivering against agreed targets and forecasts, providing the management team with monthly progress reportsOnce settled in the new role, plan and recruit for a larger sales teamRequirements:Demonstrable B2B sales experience will be necessary and this would preferably be in wine or packagingExtremely strong communication skills, both oral and writtenWillingness to travel nationally and internationally to visit customers or leads, including to industry eventsAbility to negotiate and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both partiesExperience in Salesforce and/or Hubspot will be beneficialAbility to work effectively and efficiently as an individual as well as part of the teamProactive and can-do attitude, the successful candidate should be adaptable and ready to get stuck inPassion for the health of our planet and a desire to help companies make a positive changeIf you’ve got this far down and think the above would be a great fit for you, we’d love to speak with you.
