A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Sales Manager to join our experienced team at Harley-Davidson Newmarket and become part of our legend!
The ideal candidate will take pride in their ability to lead a sales team and maximise sales and profit opportunities, whilst simultaneously delivering exceptional levels of professionalism and above all, an outstanding customer experience.
You’ll want to get fully involved with dealership events and rides, both on and off site. We live and breathe Harley-Davidson, to us this is far more than just a place of work!
Position Purpose/Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Head of Business
- Leading a highly experienced sales team
- Achieving LIND & Manufacturer profit and volume targets
- Responsible for FCA compliance
- Organise, direct and motivate the activities of the team to achieve our business plans and budgets
- Communicate directly with customers
- Ensure the high standards of showroom and online presentation
- Maintaining above national average for our Customer Experience Programme and Mystery Shops
- Managing all enquiries by use of Kerridge and Manufacturer systems
- Ensuring accurate completion of all documentation
- Actively promote the high standards of Harley-Davidson at all times.
The successful candidate will:
- A minimum of five years proven continuous track record with motor trade Management
- Sound working knowledge of automotive DMS systems
- Outstanding people management skills
- Possess a strong working knowledge of Management Accounts/ P+L/DOC’s etc
- Possess proven business development skills
- Have a natural ability to motivate all team members
- Full UK Motorcycle, Car and Van Driving Licence
- Have a desire to have fun!
