Job description
The Role:
At Lifestyle Department Store, which is part of Lifestyle & Mobility Group are expanding our sales team and looking for an enthusiastic Sales Executive to work from our new flagship store in Basildon on the 1st Floor.
Furniture experience is preferable, but not limited and sales experience will be helpful.
Your main duties will be to work on the shop floor, assisting with restocking and merchandising the displays. Engaging with customers and helping to guide them towards the most appropriate products/equipment.
We are looking for a dynamic and adaptable person who can work well as part of a team. You will be required to support with occasional deliveries.
You must be able to lift 30kg comfortably, be a well presented person, great organisational and telephone skills.
8.30am - 5:30pm Working 5 days a week which must including Saturday & Sunday.
Working days of in the week can be flexible.
Your main role will be customer facing on the shop floor and being a support to the rest of the team. Full Internal & External Training will be given on products where required. Other duties will include; Telephone communication with clients, potential clients and suppliers, administration by both computer and paper methods.
The Candidate:
It's not essential that you have experience in our industry as full training will be given. However if you have experience in retail or a sales background then this will be a massive benefit.
The candidate must have a calm and caring attitude.
A full UK driving licence would be beneficial.
We are looking for someone that has the ability to multi task, self manage, and keep track of jobs, follow up and have the ability to take notes and follow things through to the end.
DBS check will be carried out.
The Package:
Base salary is dependent on experience and can range from £23,000 to £25,000 Plus Uncapped Commission! Other Skilled Sales Associates that work for us are earning between £35k- £45k p/a
