Job Summary:
This role gives the successful Sales Manager candidate real control of their own desk.
You will be responsible for achieving and exceeding financial, appointment and telesales targets as well as maintaining and developing your customer base, for which you will be fully accountable.
Ideally, you’ll have a portfolio of established client relationships, account or key account management experience and a proven record of success in the entire sales process from planning to closing.
The Role of Sales Manager:
- Build and maintain a customer base to expand revenue streams.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing client accounts.
- Plan personal sales activity effectively with regular contact via telephone, email and face-to-face communication.
- Actively promoting the brand and always providing exceptional customer service.
Build and promote strong and long-lasting client relationships, understanding and reacting to their needs. - Self-generate appointments to maximise revenue.
- Be fully accountable for the growth of GP.
Required skills and qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in managing sales in a freight forwarding sales MUST BE from an air, sea, or road freight background.
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
- Superb leadership ability to manage client expectations.
- Ability to travel.
- Multilingual skills would be an advantage.
