HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING


  • People Leadership
    – As a Manager of Team Sales (MTS) you will manage and lead account managers to attain assigned budgets and profit objectives. Communicating marketing and sales strategies to account managers, you will ensure the successful implementation of initiatives in order to meet sales objectives.
  • Account Development – You will initiate and maintain on-going relationships with customers to insulate and enable the sale of the company’s brands. Taking an active role in management of key accounts in collaboration with the account manager will attribute to your success.
  • Strategic Partnerships – Internally, you will work closely with, Headquarters personnel, Category Management, Finance, Sales Planners, Customer Service, Logistics, Customer marketing, trade marketing, Retail.
  • Analytics – Knowing your business will be imperative in driving sales growth. Performing pre and post promotion analysis and revising future programs as necessary will be critical in achieving desired results.
  • Budget Management –This position provides direction to the team in on-going investment management of spend to ensure Return on Investment (ROI) within the operating profit commitment.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


  • Significant People and Account Management Experience
  • Substantial CPG experience, with AWG (Associated Wholesale Grocers/Customer Team) experience preferred
  • Ability to manage, lead, and resolve conflict in a diverse environment
  • Ability to work in conditions, which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications and Syndicated Data (i.e. Nielsen or IRI)
  • Motor vehicle history with 2 or less moving violations within the last 36 months
    • This position provides participation in the Kellogg Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.
    • A flexible work schedule and the ability to overnight travel around 25% of the time but may vary depending on location of residency.
