Job description

Immigration Advice Service, a firm of UK leading Immigration Solicitors are looking for an admin assistant to help out within our growing sales team:

IAS is a forward thinking, innovative company with an exciting future ahead of it. We are looking for like-minded individuals who possess excellent admin skills, both written and verbal as well as the willingness to grow and succeed within our firm. There is always opportunity for progression if commitment and hard work are demonstrated. You will be working alongside a well-established sales team primarily assisting with the daily admin tasks.

Although the role is primarily admin based, there will be the need to speak with clients via the telephone and the role does involve an element of sales.

The ideal candidate will be diligent, have a keen eye for detail, self-motivated, professional yet personable, able to work on own initiative and be effective with minimum supervision. In addition, will be a team player, confident, customer & Sales focused, proactive and possess excellent communication, planning, IT and organisational skills.

Although you are not expected to become an Immigration expert, you will be required to learn and to have sound understanding of UK immigration processes and different visa options, previous sales experience is preferred.

All training will be provided remotely via Microsoft Teams, along with ongoing guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Monitoring inbound emails from clients and providing a timely response
  • Pitching IAS products and services to clients via email
  • Speaking with clients via the telephone to action requests, and selling to them (where required)
  • Using Sales CRM to keep records up to date, adding payments and assisting with client bookings
  • Rescheduling client appointments
  • Achieving realistic sales targets
  • Sending invoices to clients
  • Assisting the sales management team with ad-hoc and regular admin tasks
  • Providing assistance to other areas of the business with admin tasks
  • Providing an outstanding customer experience to new and existing clients
  • Attending training events, exhibitions and conferences as required

Required skills:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • High level of written/spoken English
  • Very keen eye for detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once
  • Keep calm under pressure
