We are seeking a passionate and self-driven Specification Sales Manager to join our Team. You will be an innovative individual who thrives autonomously but can also collaborate across other departments within the company. With extensive experience within contract sector sales preferably in the bathroom industry, you will have excellent judgment and negotiation skills, excellent customer rapport and the ability to network at all levels. Role and Responsibilities...

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to increase sales growth within our Contract Sector. ​
  • Collaborate with new and existing customers to influence the inclusion of HiB products in their projects, developing effective sales strategies to target key projects and customers.​
  • Prepare and present proposals and quotes to potential customers, outlining products, their features, pricing and terms, negotiating to close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.​
  • Provide outstanding customer experience to customers throughout the project lifecycle, addressing any enquiries or issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.​
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of our products and effectively communicate their features, benefits and technical specifications to customers and specifiers.​
  • Understand and stay up to date with the competitive landscape to help position our products effectively, this includes industry trends, growth areas, new markets, products and services or new ways of reaching existing markets.​
  • Work closely with our Marketing, Sales and Product Development teams to align efforts and strategies related to product specification, ensuring a cohesive and unified message to customers.​
  • Maintain accurate records of ongoing projects and the progress of product specifications, evaluating achievement of sales targets and regularly reporting on the status of these projects to management and relevant stakeholders.

About you....

  • Extensive experience within area/external/contract sales within the Bathroom Industry.​
  • A good understanding of the Construction industry is valuable.
  • A proven track record in specification sales and customer retention.
  • Outstanding customer relationship building skills and strong communication skills.
  • Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work.
  • High level of attention to detail and excellent time management skills.​
  • Project management and organisational skills.
  • The ability to operate via a CRM system and sound knowledge of Office 365 applications.
  • Flexible to travel across the UK, where appropriate.
