Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our clients’ team. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting their sales and customer service department by efficiently managing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations. Your primary responsibility will be to arrange deliveries and schedule delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of their products to customers. In addition to this, you will also assist with other sales-related administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange deliveries: Coordinate with customers and the logistics team to schedule deliveries, ensuring accurate and timely shipments
- Assisting with the scheduling of delivery routes for vehicles, optimizing resources to meet delivery deadlines.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, including tracking numbers, dates, and customer information. Update the system with relevant information to ensure smooth order processing.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, including preparing sales reports, maintaining customer databases, processing orders, and updating inventory records.
- Prepare and maintain delivery-related documents, such as invoices, delivery notes, and shipping labels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement in delivery and administrative procedures, suggesting and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar administrative or sales support role is preferred however training will be provided
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including MS Office suite and CRM databases.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of logistics and delivery processes would be an advantage
