Position: Full-Time Sales Manager at Gilbert & Rose Estate Agent’s, Leigh-on-Sea.
Working Hours: 5 days a week, including occasional Saturdays.
Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will possess a full UK driving license and their own vehicle. They should have a deep understanding of the property market and demonstrate a target-oriented approach, backed by a proven track record of sales achievement. The Sales Manager will be responsible for motivating and guiding the sales team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring effective communication throughout the team. This role will involve training and developing the sales team, managing their performance, and conducting regular morning meetings.
Responsibilities:
Sales Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the sales team to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
- Set clear performance goals and objectives for individual team members.
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to enhance team members' knowledge and skills.
- Regularly review and assess team members' performance, providing constructive feedback and support where necessary.
- Conduct morning meetings to communicate goals, strategies, and initiatives.
Sales Performance and Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilise market knowledge and insights to identify opportunities and develop sales strategies.
Customer Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and address customer needs and concerns.
- Provide support and guidance to the sales team in managing complex or high-value customer accounts.
Communication and Reporting:
- Foster open and effective communication channels within the sales team and across departments.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, team activities, and market insights to senior management.
- Keep the team updated on company policies, procedures, and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Enthusiastic and motivating personality with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- High standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.
- Ability to analyse data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience in training and developing a sales team is highly desirable.
