Job description
Due to a group internal promotion, a leading manufacturer of complex machinery with a global footprint has a new vacancy for a Sales Manager. You will lead the global sales team and provide guidance on sales strategy & best practise and candidates are sought
with experience working in a product sales environment. The position is initially a 6-9 month FTC but with a strong likely hood it will be made permanent should both parties agree.
Commutable from: Coventry, Birmingham, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford, Birmingham, Banbury.
Salary: £ 60,000 to £ 75,000 p.a. + benefits
Suitable for: Sales Manager, Sales Director, Business Development Manager
The Role
Develop sales strategy and effective sales plans that deliver agreed sales targets
Manage and support the sales team, offer direction to achieve and ensure healthy margins
Provide leadership and visibility of the sales function across the business
Work with dealership network to resolve issues
Ensure the company’s sales forecasts and reports are accurate and up to date
Encourage the team to seek out new business opportunities
The Person
Experience working in a fast-paced environment, working cross functionally
Proven track record of managing a global sales team
Experience leading a commercial function in a rapidly growing business
Good relationship builder
Customer focused approach with result's orientated,' can do' attitude.
