Who you’ll be working with
Codal’s Sales Org moves as a single unit, in lock step with our incredible marketing team, and
the results speak for themselves. Our team has seen significant growth over the past 5 years.
We are comprised of; BDR’s for industry targeting strategy, initial reach outs and meeting
setting. Account Executives to guide our pre-sales, proposals, and handoff to legal team for
contracting. From there one of our Account Managers will step in to manage the client
relationship long term as well as identify upsell opportunities. Lastly, our Partnerships team is
an extension of the Sales/Marketing org and there to assist any pre-sales or projects that
need to bring in a technology partner for scoping or technical help as well as planning
events/co-marketing activites to fill up the Codal sales pipeline.
What you’ll be doing
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and revenue
targets
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and
performance evaluations
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting,
networking, and relationship building
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders,
acting as a trusted advisor to clients
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting
client expectations and maximizing customer satisfaction
Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive
landscapes, and opportunities for business growth
Monitor sales metrics, generate accurate sales forecasts, and report progress to
senior management on a regular basis
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's services, industry
trends, and client needs to effectively position solutions
Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the
company's brand and expand professional networks
What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements)
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a
plus
Proven track record of success in sales, business development, and/or account
management, preferably within the digital consultancy or technology industry
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal
Deep understanding of digital technologies, digital marketing, and consultancy
services
Two (2)+ years of previous experience managing a sales team
Ability to think strategically, analyze market dynamics, and identify opportunities for
business growth
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to
manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools
Bonus Points for these (Preferred Experience)
MBA or advanced degree in Business Administration or a related field
Experience in the digital consultancy or technology industry
Familiarity with emerging digital technologies and industry trends
Strong network of contacts and relationships with key stakeholders in relevant
industries
Experience participating in industry events, conferences, and trade shows
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and events
