The Sales Manager (Distributor Lead) Primary Care Healthcare Systems Technologies UK/I - leads in the region the HST portfolio for the Primary Care Channel. This person brings with them a multidimensional disruptive thinking capability as well as the motivation that derives from it. HST Portfolio is a large portfolio that consists of a wide range of products including intelligent diagnostics, connected monitoring, cardiology, global surgical solutions and patient support systems. The Sales Manager will be responsible for sustaining and growing the business in their region through building strategic partnerships within the Primary Care Channel with Distributors.

Role Responsibilities
The Sales Manager Primary Care UK/I will assess the Primary Care Channel across the HST portfolio and will set-targets to grow the primary care market across the region through strategic distribution partnerships. The key responsibilities of the Sales Manager are to:
Build a comprehensive understanding of the Primary Care channel/market in order to develop effective strategies.
Assess market opportunities for the HST Portfolio in the Primary Care Channel and define target products.
Develop and execute strategic plans in order to accelerate Sales, Margins and as a result grow market share.
Find, select (by conducting diligent due diligence), contract and manage the right strategic partners/distributors for HST in the region.
Build and maintain strong relationships with partners/distributors acting as a single point of contact for all matters regarding the partners/distributors.
Set targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), coordinate training and support, conduct regular performance reviews
Develop action plans with partners/distributors to address any performance gaps.
Analyze and review partner/distributors financials and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Work closely with marketing teams internally and of the partners in order secure effective marketing strategies and execution.
Continuously review and challenge the status quo to at our Partners for improvements as well as internally at Baxter in order to support the creation of value and innovative solutions.
Develop omnichannel strategy in partnership with distributors and the marketing team.
Own the yearly budgeting and planning process for the region and continuously monitor performance.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
Seasoned sales experience with product launch experience and a demonstrated record of driving consultative selling. Evidence of achieving targets and getting results.
Experience with distributor selection and management
Excellent negotiation skills and experience in managing complex contracts.
Strong understanding of business economics as well as analytical skills with a focus on driving sales growth and achieving KPIs.
A great communicator with customer orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
Passion for exploring, locating and proposing new business deals and commercial models. Identifies new opportunities for growth and innovation while at the same time recognizes the barriers to change and addresses these appropriately.
Ability to easily switch between keeping a holistic overview of market dynamics and detailed troubleshooting when required.
Excellent listening and analytical skills. Ability to identify and influence stakeholders.
Good knowledge of healthcare and medical devices commercial landscape and competition; Continuously looks for business intelligence and competitive information.
Budgetary knowledge and experience.
Good knowledge of country healthcare structures, national healthcare politics, and hospital financing.
Works autonomously, self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset; learns quickly.
