Avenue Bakery are looking for a dedicated, motivated person to join and lead our friendly team.

Avenue Bakery is a well known and loved bakery within our area, established in 1943 and is still run by the same family still using some traditional recipes along with more modern techniques

What will my position look like?

As a shift Leader you will be required to use your motivational and leadership skills to engage with the front of house team to ensure a positive, friendly and the highest level of customer service at all times.

If you have great leadership skills, love to work in a fast-paced vibrant shop, meet different people every day, have fun, feel like part of family then this is the role for you!!

Main parts of your responsibilities

· Lead and motivate the team and achieve fantastic results

· Be involved with making of hot and cold bakery products including savouries.

· Provide an unforgettable customer service experience. Serving our loyal and new
customers, help drive sales.

· Ensuring all stock is replenished thoroughly throughout the day. Ensure all shelves,
fridges and counters are always presented to the highest standard along with making
sure that all bakery surfaces, floors, and trays are also kept clean throughout the day.

· Must adhere to health and safety guidelines and our own bakery guidelines

· Be friendly, happy, smile and have fun

Essentials

· Passionate about customer service and great leadership skills

· Some experience of working in a similar faced paced environment

· Work well within a team and communicate effectively and openly with other members of
staff and the public

· Build relationships with colleagues to create a team spirit.

· Experience in shift leadership.

Of course you do! We are looking for energetic, motivated individuals who are passionate about customer service and have great leadership skills. Although previous team leader experience is desired, we will upskill you and ensure you trained to the highest standards. As long as you can lead teams are not afraid of hard work and thrive in a fun environment then you definitely have what it takes!
