Job description
We are now searching for someone to develop our growing team of Private Wealth Advisors and Associate Advisors.
You will provide 1-to-1 and group coaching sessions to help improve the quality, strategy and performance of our Advisers; coaching on best-practice and helping to identify and embed knowledge and skills, and driving behaviours to help them in delivering an exceptional level of service to both new and existing clients.
Your aim - to train and develop Advisors in their gestation period i.e. 0-18 months from start date and help them to achieve required productivity levels and exceptional client service whilst maintaining client retention
What You'll Be Doing
- Achievement and setting of Adviser OKRs in line with company OKRs
- Observing Advisers performance and creating debrief and action plans to identify areas of improvement.
- Identifying Adviser and team training needs by observing sales encounters and role plays to evaluate sales performance.
- Collaborating with the training team to implement relevant upskill programmes.
- Developing relationships with the adviser team that makes it easy to communicate their ideas and issues they are facing.
- Coaching in both group and 1 on 1 settings - discussing tips and strategies with advisers and identifying and embedding best practice.
- Preparing and presenting reports to the leadership team
- Initial completion and ongoing monitoring of systems/ data capture on systems such as Salesforce and Stratosfia
- Smooth onboarding of Advisors and Associate Advisors in line with the Apollo Private Wealth onboarding plan
Requirements
What we need from you
- Educated to degree level or have the equivalent professional qualifications
- CII, CISI or LIBF Level 4 Diploma qualified as a minimum
- Well-developed and proven skills as a coach, preferably with a Certificate in Advanced Coaching and Mentoring (or equivalent).
- Some experience of giving financial advice
- A genuine desire to help others achieve their goals
- Experience of implementing different coaching and sales methodologies
- Excellent people management and leadership with the ability to excite, motivate, nurture and enable the success of others through collaboration and teamwork
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate at all levels up to and including Director level management.
- Good analytical and decision-making skills underpinned by informed sound judgement.
- Ability to organise time and workload, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collegiately with other parts of the business.
- Ability to identify skills and knowledge shortfalls, provide constructive feedback and through strong coaching/development skills support Partners & Advisers to become established.
