The Senior Sales Advisor is responsible for guiding the other team members and ensuring sales targets are met, they are generating leads with customers both old and new by giving excellent customer service. They must manage key accounts and have a thorough product knowledge to promote larger sales. Progression towards Store Manager.
Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 40 hours, flexible availability
Main Duties
- Drive sales
- Lead the less experienced sales advisors and encourage them to complete sales
- Operate the sales email to ensure all customer queries are answered
- Maintain new and old customer relationships
- Have extensive product knowledge
- Communicate with merchandising to report daily sales, inform of any stock discrepancies and complete stock takes
- Keep the shop tidy and well presented at all times.
- Key holder with responsibility for opening and closing the till
Requirements and Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Work effectively independently and lead a team.
- Strong knowledge of till systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Previous retail experience is essential.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £23,000.00 per year
