Salary: basic £30,000 + £7,800 bonus

Join Advance Vauxhall Berkshire and become part of our dedicated Sales Management Team. We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Group Used Cars manager.

Group Used Car Manager Responsibilities:

• As a Group Used Cars Manager, you’ll play a key role in progressing the business by meeting targets alongside the management team.
• Oversee the purchasing and preparation of Used cars & control these costs.
• Attend regular sales meetings with the sales teams where strategies will be devised to help the business achieve its targets and company goals.
• Maintaining and building relationships with suppliers and auctions
• Ensure that all stock is advertised correctly, and all appropriate portal fields are completed in accordance with the criteria that is provided by the supplier.
• Identifying new opportunities for improvement within our purchasing model and approach
• Closely monitoring industry trends and pricing trends to ensure used car stock allows sufficient margin.
• Oversee the preparation of Used cars & control these costs.

Group Used Car Manager Requirements:

• You must have experience at least 3 years’ mototrade experience
• An experienced Used Car Sales Manager will be considered
• Have a keen eye for price and detail and possess excellent negotiation skills.
• Have an excellent knowledge about vehicle purchasing and acquisition and identify new ways of improving our buying.
• Have the communication skills and necessary commitment to liaise with external suppliers and identify new ways of optimising our profit capability.
• You will manage performance against set targets.
• Be experienced in auction management of part exchanges and trade disposal.
• Have an experience in used cars stock management to maximise profitability.
• Be a confident and enthusiastic person with a drive to succeed

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
