The Role
The Sales Manager will be leading and supporting the team of sales executives. You will undoubtedly be an experienced people manager with a passion for building excellent customer satisfaction, whilst driving forward profitable business expansion and achieving targets. As a customer-focused manager, you will inspire your team to retain loyal customers whilst attracting new business through exceptional customer relations. You will be able to enhance the current team by providing support, coaching and motivation to them. Previous experience in car sales is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the business forward to maximise car sales and profits as well as customer satisfaction by close management of each member of the Sales team.
- Actively involved in showroom processes with 2nd facing & stacking deals.
- Ensuring that the sales process is followed to maximise sales opportunities. Continuously review and improve sales processes and systems to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising profitability
- Provide guidance, training and motivation to team members of all levels, to maximise individuals’ potential and create a strong and focused sales team
- Maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring exceptional customer service at all times
- Monitor individual and team performance against agreed sales targets
- Liaise with the manufacturer and achieve their volume and CSI
Requirements:
- Previous experience in car sales with a main dealer brand is essential
- The ability to provide direction and motivation to others to achieve Vauxhall's visions and objectives.
- Well-developed management and leadership skills, with the ability to adjust style and approach to maximise team and individual performance.
- The ability to work well under pressure, handle conflicting demands and schedule work appropriately
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to lead and motivate a team to meet goals
- A full and valid UK driving licence is required
