MP Filtri is an engineering product manufacturer and distributor. We have recently moved to a state of the art facility on the Vale Park, Evesham and are currently seeking a keen and enthusiastic Sales Ledger Controller who has previous experience within a similar role.
The Role
The role of Sales Ledger Controller is responsible for the Sales Ledger function within the business. Its key purpose is ensuring outstanding debts are at a minimum.
You will be able to work as part of a team, as well as autonomously.
The role will also support the accounts department with other tasks such as expenses, cash reconciliation and petty cash reconciliation.
Day to day duties will include:
- Setting up new customers including credit checks.
- Ensuring all sales invoicing is kept up to date.
- Reconciliation of bank statements daily.
- Generating customer statements and reminders.
- Chasing up outstanding debts.
- Processing customer credits
- Send copy invoices and statements.
- Investigation invoicing queries.
- Monitoring on hold accounts and stop list.
- Any other ad hoc duties required in the accounts department, such as expenses, cash reconciliation and petty cash reconciliation.
The Person
The suitable candidate for the role of Sales Ledger Controller will have/be:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous ERP experience.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- An accounting qualification such as AAT is desirable.
