The Slough location is home to the UK&I Sales Organization but also there are and EMEA regional and corporate functions also based from the Slough site that reside outside of the UK Sales Organization. This means there are many a wide variety of roles and functions working from the office. The UK&I Sales Organization works in conjunction with the product Business Units to sell products & services to a wide variety of customers.
Eaton has rapidly evolved into an intelligent power management company as our part to Energy Transition and Net Zero gathers pace. In Eaton Electrical Sector products & services include systems that form total energy solutions including EV charging, Energy Storage, software, power distribution, industrial controls and power quality as well as life safety systems in Emergency Lighting, Fire and Security.
Within our UK&I Sales Organization, the Sales Leader will lead, develop and manage a sales team, while working closely with the EMEA business units and segment marketing teams to drive profitable growth.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the Play-To-Win strategy to increase market share, meet profit plan targets & accelerate sales pipeline
- Grow strong business relationships with (key) customers
- Enhance the customer value proposition for product portfolio, applications and route to market/distribution channels
- Embrace the use of digital tools & a data driven approach to drive CX, sales efficiency/effectiveness and continuous improvement
- Drive sales transformation focusing on the changing buyer behaviour journey leveraging virtual selling & marketing-led demand generation
- Coach for success using emotional intelligence, situational leadership & optimization of the ecosystem to enhance sales productivity
- Create a diverse talent pipeline for career development & succession planning
- Ensure the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with Eaton’s Zero Incident Safety Culture
- Build relationships with business units & product management to contribute to development of product and marketing strategies
- Understand the major competitor’s landscape, their tactics, organization, distribution, strategy and pricing
- Determine best industry practices through collection of customer satisfaction data and benchmarking
- Have a sound knowledge of financial models, balance sheet management, cash flow and risk assessment.
- Provide accurate SIOP, sales pipeline and financial forecasting
Qualifications
Your essential skills we are looking for:
Education level required
- Degree of Higher Education
Years and area of experience required
- Proven sales leader ideally in B2B environment
Technical knowledge
- Sales leadership, must have managed a sales team
Soft skills
- A team player, consultative & detailed, driven, resilient & can-do attitude. Positive and energetic.
