Sales Lead - Managed Legal Services - Energy, Power & Utilities
About the Team:
Legal Operations brings together a multi-disciplinary approach combining knowledge and skills across the legal, regulatory, data, technology and delivery management domains. We deliver successful business outcomes on a range of different types of work at varying scales including; managed legal services, data-led contract remediation engagements, providing legal support on individual contract negotiations and running client outreach & query management helpdesks.
Skills and Experience:
Deep knowledge of the Energy, Power & Utilities sectors with a strong contact portfolio
Experience leading sales of legal services, alternative legal services or managed legal services
Must thrive in working with multidisciplinary teams and be able to lead and corale teams that do not report to you
Ideally, previous experience setting up sales for a new business, territory or sector-specific product. A proven track record of developing client relationships in the UK
Proven experience in communicating to diverse groups via formal presentations and informal conversations
Business and commercial acumen allowing you to analyse and interpret data, whilst being able to create meaningful business messages
Understanding of the sales cycle and the required components to promote and drive a successful opportunity
About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive and professional individual with deep Energy, Power & Utilities industry knowledge who has experience generating new leads, building client relationships and managing the end-to-end sales process for new engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing a deep understanding of Legal Operations capabilities and working with the Legal Operations Management team to build sector-specific client propositions and position them in the UK market
Provide industry insight to colleagues, identifying target clients, must wins and client specific action plans
Lead the execution of the sector based sales strategy and work collectively with branding teams to provide a seamless go-to-market strategy
End-to-end management of the bid process for clients in the Energy, Power & Utilities sectors
Developing long term and meaningful relationships with clients to retain and deliver organic growth
Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders including Client Services, Branding, Risk, and Pricing to support your sales activities
Keeping salesforce up to date and measuring activity, revenue, and pipeline changes
Create internal networks to foster collaboration across firm and ensure we promote a “joined up” approach to client engage
Contribute to win plan discussions to enable robust qualification of opportunities on key sector clients where appropriate and where sector knowledge would provide a significant advantage
