Wondery are hiring for a Sales Executive, reporting into the Head of the International for Wondery. You will be responsible for executing a sales strategy to drive revenue opportunities for Wondery and Amazon Music Podcasts and additional third party podcast inventory. The role is ideal for someone who has experience in a fast moving digital media environment and has a track record of forming new, and building sustaining relationships with agencies and clients.
Key job responsibilities
- Execute a go-to-market sales strategy to generate revenue across podcast inventory including sponsorships, host reads, producer reads, spot and programmatic sales as well as develop custom solutions for clients
- Work closely with the content team to provide market insights and maintain full insight into the content slate
- Develop partnerships with agencies and brands to create advertising opportunities in the podcast space
- Work closely with international and internal sales teams to maximize revenue and ensure a consistency around our sales strategy
- Establish pricing and sales processes to delight our clients
- Maintain reporting and forecasting
- Podcast Advertising sales experience
- Experience working in audio
- Knowledge of programmatic advertising and international media sales experience
- Network of agency/brand contacts and relationships
- Ability to influence senior executives
