Recra Consulting are working in partnership with a leading events company who are based in Milton Keynes who are looking for a Customer Sales Executive to join their team and bring in new business proactively. The purpose of this role is to ensure the company’s sales strategies & targets are being met throughout the course of each month. You will be helping drive sales and to approach new target audiences. Promotion of our products & events are essential, and the ideal candidate would have both B2C & B2B sales experience. Liaising with the accounts department and the sales team. Developing business from prospecting new businesses, following up on marketing leads, as well as expanding business from the company’s existing client base. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal is essential. Skills needed: The successful candidate will have a proven record of working in a similar position within a fast-paced environment for a high-profile organisation, preferably within events. The candidate will be a strong team-player with excellent organisational skills and the drive to deliver best in class for our clients & guests. Must be comfortable targeting and approaching new customers/clients proactively. Uncover new business opportunities within client base. Develop & help maintain new business relationships by following up with regular proactive contact. Provide smooth transition of deals to the accounts team through effective internal communications and -correct record of documentation. Conducting online research on the new business leads. Use of CRM database to provide details as activities which may lead to documented opportunity -that is transitioned to sale. Entering all information into CRM. Schedule video call & face to face appointments for sales to meet with potential clients Maintain client base.
