As our family-run business continues to grow, we are seeking an additional Sales Executive to join our happy, hardworking and dedicated team that will be moving to our brand new and improved offices in Welwyn Garden City! The ideal candidate will be looking for the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment, the opportunity to be valued within a friendly and supportive team and stability within a Company that promotes staff well-being.

All of our Sales Executives primarily undertake the following duties:

  • answering a high-volume of incoming telephone calls from our existing customer base
  • processing sales orders received via telephone, email, fax
  • making outbound sales calls as directed by the Sales Manager to existing customer base or prospective customers, to inform them about products, opportunities and promotions.
  • To maximise upselling / cross-selling opportunities
  • To understand margins and pricing guidelines and provide formal customer quotations
  • To deliver special projects as directed by Sales Manager
  • Additional duties as required

Full training would be given on our bespoke computer system but the ideal applicant should:

  • have a confident and enthusiastic telephone manner
  • enjoy speaking to customers on the telephone
  • possess excellent communication skills
  • work well in a fast-paced environment
  • have the ability to work well within a team and independently
  • be reliable and trustworthy
  • be hardworking and dedicated
  • have a high level of literacy and numeracy
  • have experience of effectively utilising ICT
  • be keen to learn new skills and take on responsibilities

Working Hours: 37 per week (09.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday and 09.00 am - 4.30 pm on Friday, with a 30 minute break for lunch each day).

Salary: £25,000.00 - £28,000.00 per year depending on experience
