Our state-of-the-art facilities in Horwich are expanding and our new £4.2 million waste processing plant is now up and running. As a result of our growth, we are looking to expand our team of dedicated staff and we now have an exciting new opportunity for a confident and experienced Sales Executive to join our team.
Salary c.£25k p.a. DOE, plus attractive bonus structure
42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Role
The post holder will manage, develop, and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities to support the growth of the company. You will be expected to gain an excellent knowledge of the full range of products we provide, which will be used to confidently promote and secure sales with prospective customers. The role will involve cold-calling, door-knocking, and visiting new and existing customers and you will be out in the field visiting prospects and customers for much of the working week, with a base at our site for office activities.
What you need:
We are seeking a confident and skilled communicator with experience in a similar sales role, who can generate and recognise new ideas and opportunities to develop the business. An understanding of or experience working within the waste management industry would be a great advantage, however not essential, as full training will be offered on starting. The ability to work proactively, independently and on own initiative is key in this role, as well as good negotiation and influencing skills. It is important that you have the ability to work both proactively and reactively in the role, according to fluctuating business requirements.
