Sales Executive (Technology Industry)

Location: Brentford
Contract type: long term Temporary position at present up to one year
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 6:00pm
Pay rate: £13.00 - £15.00 + uncapped monthly commission
Adecco are delighted to be working with a dynamic US based client with a new venture in West London who are looking to add a sales executive to their new UK business development department. The Sales Executive will be a critical function in helping to drive revenue growth. The primary function of the role is to generate sales and assist with all customer questions about the products and services the company offers. The ideal candidate is expected to be continuously updating their knowledge of the company products, services, policies and previous sales experience in the technology industry.

Duties:
- Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients.
- Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
- Develops and implements strategies for sales
- Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
- Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
- Provides information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid specifications to clients.
- Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders.
- Achieving established goals.
- Collaborates with managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly.
- Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- UK sales/business development experience preferred
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
- Thorough understanding of technical products to be sold.
- Organised with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to travel as required within and outside the US.
- 1 year of sales experience minimum required
- Proficiency with CRM and IOS Apple technology a plus, but not required
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
