You will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly and above all, a total ledge.
The Role:
A few but not all of the exciting tasks involved in being a Sales & Events Manager…
- Responding in an effective and timely manner to all sales enquiries (calls/emails/system enquiries) across multiple sites
- Effective system management - ensure the system is up to date and all relevant information is noted, in order to produce accurate function sheets
- Carry out client show rounds/venue viewings
- End-to-end ownership of event sales and planning, including quoting, invoicing etc. with overall account responsibility
- Conduct post-event follow-up with the client with the aim of securing repeat business
- Maximising sales opportunities and upselling food/drink/extras to clients
- Working towards pre-set targets
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and pricing
- Motivate and steer the team to achieve and exceed targets
- Produce weekly sales reports
- Growing/expanding our corporate client base through pro-active activities
- Working with third party agencies to increase number of incoming enquiries
- Working closely with site managers to understand their venues and support bookings and events
- Play a part in onboarding and training of new and existing team members
- Above all else, you will constantly exceed customer expectations by delivering fantastic customer service
