- Headquarters is located in Sandy, Ut but this position is remote and can be worked from anywhere in the U.S.
Overall Responsibility:
Help support the queue of complex opportunities and determine what type of engineering they need. While the requests my come from sales partners, RVPs or other internal employees, it’s imperative that we act as an engineer on our partner’s behalf helping support the complex sales process remotely and sometimes in person. It’s also critical that this person track, report on and manage their opportunity funnel to ultimately drive more sales.
Key areas of Responsibility:
- Be a middle point for engineering requests from partners and internal staff in determining supplier needs, or whether an outside engineer will need to be engaged
- When an outside engineer is not needed, help all stakeholders determine the appropriate solution, and ensure a clean handoff to partner support so partner support can ultimately begin quoting and supplier engagement
- Drive company revenue growth by improving agent performance monthly and working to enhance opportunities
- Maintain healthy and positive working relationship with all agents
- Contact, build, and maintain working relationships with supplier contacts in local regions
- Log and communicate registered opportunities for Channel Manager follow-up
- Proactively monitor provisioning statuses and address/escalate as needed
- Identify needs for agent training and schedule appropriately
- Regular, consistent, predictable attendance is an essential job function
- Maintain consistent communication with manager throughout his/her employment
- Train and keep up to date with emerging carrier products/services
- Train new hires on specific technologies
- Ability to identify security opportunities
- Ability to identify cloud opportunities
- Ability to identify IAAS opportunities
- Lead discovery calls with customers on partners behalf and uncover any opportunities
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations
- Work towards technical certifications

Qualifications:
- Effective communicator via phone or email

- Requires one industry certification achieved per year
- Previous telecom, cloud and/or security experience
- Ability to travel as needed
